about

SHOO BEE DOO BEE. BOP. BOP. WHOA!
I wanted to write a Van Halen style song. Though the leads have quite a bit Thin Lizzy in them. The main lead after the harmony one is completely improvised. I just did a bunch of passes and took the best parts from each. Though most of what you hear is take 2. And just in case you were worried about all that 70's sex, drugs, and rock and roll you hear the popular kids talk about. This is a love song......and also rock and roll.......It's sexy.

By Derrick Faith

Rushing into war
Never really knowing
What's the score

Everything's ruined now you're
Starting back again
But I don't see you giving up

Patience is not my strong suit
At all
I'll make an exception
Prove the rule
Yeah you know
Two types of people
In this world
But I ain't one of them

Played the waiting game
Mixing signals
Tried to walk away

Cat stepping
All around
An obvious connection
But still afraid to fall again

So let's slide to the bottom
Ignore the drop
And see how long it takes
To get back up top
And you know
Just know that
I'll be by your side
Sooner than later
Things gettin' better
